Dead trees can pose serious risks to your family and property. Because dead trees are much more prone to dropping big limbs and completely collapsing, professional removal is the safest solution. With hazardous trees removed, you can feel greater peace of mind about your property. At Bassett Tree Service, we provide expert tree removal in the greater Mesa, AZ area. Here are four important reasons to have dead trees professionally removed as soon as possible.

Prevent a Sudden Collapse

Dead trees have weakened wood and compromised structural integrity, making them more likely to break or fall unexpectedly. Large branches can also snap and drop without warning. Professional tree removal helps eliminate these hazards before they cause injuries or damage to your home, vehicles, fences, or other structures.

Protect Your Property

A falling dead tree can cause extensive property damage, particularly when it is located near a house, driveway, or utility lines. Even smaller branches can damage roofs, siding, vehicles, and landscaping. Removing the tree promptly reduces the likelihood that a weakened trunk or branch will eventually come down on something valuable.

Prevent Pest Problems

Dead and decaying trees can attract insects and other pests that feed on or shelter in deteriorating wood. Depending on the condition of the tree, these pests may eventually spread to nearby trees or create additional concerns around your property. Professional removal can eliminate an important source of food and shelter for pests.

Boost Curb Appeal

Dead trees can make your property look somewhat neglected, even if you keep your lawn and gardens looking nice. Removing dead trees can instantly refresh the look of your property, boosting curb appeal—which is especially important if you plan to sell.
